These terms govern your use of Cinevol, a platform for discovering Indian independent films and connecting with the people who make them. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create a Cinevol account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has used your account.

What Cinevol is

Cinevol catalogues films that are publicly available elsewhere, largely on YouTube, and links to them. We do not host film files. Playback happens through the original platform, and the rights holder controls whether a film can play outside that platform. Listings, credits and metadata are compiled from public sources and community contributions, and may contain errors.

Your content

Reviews, discussion posts, questions and any other material you submit remain yours. By posting on Cinevol you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that material on the platform. Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

Verified profiles

Cast and crew may request verification of the profile that represents them. Verification requires evidence and is reviewed by our team. Claiming a profile that does not represent you, or submitting false evidence, will lead to removal of the verification and may lead to removal of your account.

Rights holders

If you hold rights in a film listed on Cinevol and want the listing changed or removed, use the report link on the film’s page or contact us at joseph@cinevol.com and we will respond promptly. Our full process is described in the Copyright & Content Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, create accounts by automated means, or misuse other members’ personal information. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

Cinevol is provided as it is, without warranties. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we will make it clear on the site. Continuing to use Cinevol after a change means you accept the updated terms.
